Travel with us to Chunilna Creek, one of the best fishing rivers in all of Alaska! Chunilna Creek is quite simply a fisherman’s paradise. It is a small river and most fishing is done from shore, not in a boat. But unique for this river is the giant King salmon that come up the river. We have caught kings over 60lbs here almost every year though the average is around 15-30lbs. The river is mostly clear and the fish can usually be spotted from shore. We encourage our clients to practice catch and release.

In this remote area near the small town of Talkeetna, Alaska you will experience world class salmon and trout fishing less than 50 yards from your lodge. The lodge is situated on the riverbank at the best pool in the whole river.

You’ll be there for 6 days, fishing salmon and beautiful rainbow trout that can measure up to 30 inches (75cm.).

Here at Chunilna Creek you are deep in bear country. There are no cars and the only way to reach the lodge is by boat from Talkeetna. This remote jewel of Alaska will stay with you for the rest of your life, a place you’ll never want to leave.
